  We are very happy with Dr. Hiser. My former doctor missed ovarian cancer. After searching the internet, talking to a lot of people, and checking his background and reviews, I found Dr. Hiser. What I like is that he doesn't make you feel rushed, listens to all concerns, and takes the time to explain why something is what it is.
  
  Both my husband and son have a rare disease. They had the same doctor, who although competent, was difficult to get an appointment, impatient, and rushed through appointments. They switched to Dr. Hiser and are both very happy. When they have issues, he is supportive.
  
  However, his office staff, who are very nice, aren't quite on top of things. I'm not sure if it is because of the amount of paperwork required these days or if they are still adjusting to the new office (they moved), but there are still a few hiccups in getting referrals and prescriptions submitted. Make sure you call and confirm the referral or prescription was submitted. You might have to call to remind them. They do try.
